The White Desert is a wonderful place that is only found in Egypt. The terrain is flat and can be walked or driven but due to the soft sand you can only get into it in a 4WD vehicle. The only animal you might see (if you’re lucky) is a young desert fox that will come in late at night and eat your leftovers. There is no creepy crawling and no one to bother you. You find your own little place for the toilet and water for washing is provided by your guide. The desert is absolutely clean and no evidence of anything is left behind. Everything – even toilet paper is taken into plastic bags for disposal.
